Every hardship is an opportunity that you are given, an opportunity to grow. To grow is the sole purpose of existence on this planet Earth. I have always believed that everything has a gift for us, just as Elisabeth Kübler-Ross describes. When something happens that I would rather not have had happen, I ask myself, “What is the gift here?” I always find an answer, although it may not be immediately. Is there something in your life that you would rather not be there right now? Ask, “What is the gift here?” If you ask – and if you listen – you will find the answer. The gift is always there.
