the roo game

in response to monday’s ponderings (Somewhere, there is something incredible waiting to be known), my friend lora lea (a.k.a. roo) sent the following:

This reminds me of a game I like to play. Sometimes I say out loud "Something good is coming my way" or "Something good is coming my way today" And it makes it seem like Christmas, the conscious watching and something good arrives. Little surprises in the day. An unplanned visit or phone call, a baby duck hatches, the first ripe peach, or when it isn't snowing and I need to drive my Mom in to Colville for Physical Therapy, like this morning.
This just reminded me of that something incredible waiting to be known.

i love this way of looking at life – it focuses our minds and hearts on the good things in life, when sometimes it is all too easy to do otherwise. the good things are always there, it’s just that we don’t always see them. lora lea’s game opens our eyes to the somethings incredible out there.
